Nursing Professional Development Practitioner - Maternity
Overview Position Summary:The Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner at IU North Hospital's Maternity unit is a full-time role dedicated to supporting the education and professional development of staff within the Maternity Unit. This role utilizes expert practice judgment to enhance the competence and growth of maternity nurses, OB/GYN staff, and learners. The practitioner partners closely with Maternity leadership to deliver onboarding, competency management, education, and role development initiatives that promote clinical excellence, safety, and adherence to evidence-based practices in maternal care.
