SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.

16-bed unit & part of our baby-friendly Women's Health Unit ?
Patients are babies born at or after 32 weeks who need a higher level of care, but not so high they need to be admitted to a NICU
Straight shifts offered; either day shift OR evening shift, three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Two (2) years of nursing experience preferably in NICU or Special Care Nursery preferred
Specialty area certification preferred
