Are you looking for an opportunity to support a specialty medical unit and the front face of the unit? This Neurology Intensive Care unit, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, is ideal if you are personable, able to multi-task, love organization, and helping people.
Schedule:
Day & Night Shift Rotation
3 shifts per week
3 weeks of Day Shift (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.)
2 weeks of Night Shift (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.)
Weekend Requirement is night shift

Role Purpose
The Unit Secretary performs clerical duties supporting the operations of the patient care team.
Responsibilities
- Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support.
- Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail.
- Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures. Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
