Summary

Charge RN / Registered Nurse In collaboration with the ANM is responsible for the operations of assigned nursing department. Charge RN / Registered Nurse demonstrate productive and efficient time management skills. Charge RN / Registered Nurse promotes quality awareness and achieving the highest standard of excellence. Charge RN / Registered Nurse ensures assignments and safety measures are in place and adhered to in the unit. Charge RN/ Registered Nurse collaborates with staff, physicians and the management team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and accurate implementation in accordance with patient safety care standards.

Qualifications

? Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), BSN preferred.
? Minimum two years as a critical care staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience in critical care preferred.
? Ability to promote teamwork
? Basic Computer Skills
? Ability to set priorities and remain calm during stressful situations
? Knowledgeable with critical care skills and serves as a resource
? Ability to de-escalate conflict and resolve complaints regarding patient care

Licensure/Certifications

?ACLS and EKG Certified
? Registered Nurse- licensed in the state of Florida.
? BLS Certification
