Summary

Under the supervision, and/or direction of the Nursing Director/Clinical Manager, Resource Nurse, or Staff Nurse performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established functions and procedures of the hospital.

Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities)

• High school graduate or equivalent.

• Certified Nursing Assistance with Phlebotomy and EKG certification or

• Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation or

• Nursing Student with first semester clinical course completion.

• Knowledge of principles of patient hygiene, comfort, safety measures preferred.

• Patient Care Technician Certification (PCT) or Foreign Nurse/Physician with appropriate documentation.

• Current BLS/Heart Saver certification
• CPI within 30 days of hire
