Polysomnography Tech
DescriptionSummary:The Polysomnography Tech is responsible for knowing basic anatomy, neural anatomy, cardiac rhythms, sleep stages, and the bio-electrical patterns of each EEG, EOG, EKG, and EMG signals encountered in polysomnographic recordings. The Polysomnography Tech performs and evaluates overnight polysomnograms under the supervision of the lab coordinator and medical director. Interfaces with all hospital departments, medical staff, nursing personnel, management and the community. Ensures that procedures are performed in compliance with department and hospital standards.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent Registered Polysomnograhy Technologist (RPSGT) certification BCL
