Work Hours/Shifts:

Full-time day shift 

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Demonstrates ongoing competency in assessment, planning and evaluating patient care within the scope of practice
• Effectively collaborates with other members of health care team
• Effectively oversee care provided by RN's, LPN's, Unit Clerks and OB Techs
• Makes rounds on the patient care unit 
• Recognize and care for patients with suspected abuse or sexual assault per established hospital policies

What You Will Need:

• ASN required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification; ACLS & NRP within 1 year of hire 
• KY RN license
• Demonstrated clinical competence of 3 years RN experience required with 2 years in an acute care setting such as OB

Job Summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care primarily for OB setting with potential cross coverage to other units as needed. Communicates with physicians/team leaders/coworkers as appropriate about changes in patient's condition and can respond quickly and accurately to changes or response to treatment.
