Work Schedule: Nights/Evenings; Every other weekend/holiday rotation
Work Type: FULL TIME (1.0 FTE.) - 80 hours Bi-weekly; 40W Overtime
Works independently and collaboratively with unit Nursing Operations Manager to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the unit.
Works collaboratively with unit Nursing Operations Manager in recruitment and retention initiatives, Performance Evaluations, Performance Improvement Plans and disciplinary actions.
Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family experience by optimizing all customer interaction. Foster a positive work environment through mutual support and cooperation and adheres to GHS and unit specific Service Standards.
Directly accountable to the Nursing Operations Manager.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. RN with 1 year experience in specialty area or
2. if prior experience in specialty area, 6 months required in dept or at discretion of the Operations Manager.
a. Current Pa RN License
b. BLS certification required
c. ACLS and/or PALS required as appropriate for specialty areas
d. Specialty certifications preferred
e. BSN required
