Serve in the role as Hospital Trauma Coordinator. Duties include general administration in planning, coordinating, maintaining and updating assigned plans. Provides necessary project management and support for all Trauma-Committee agenda items as needed or instructed.
BSN required; MSN preferred.
Minimum of two (2) required years of emergency/critical care nursing preferred.
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Current Texas registered nurse license required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support -- American Heart Assoc) required
Current ACLS preferred
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Course Certified) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) is required
TOPIC (Trauma Outcomes Performance Improvement Class) is required within one year of hire
AAAM (Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine) is required within one year of hire
