The Instructors primary responsibility will be supporting, coordinating, and conducting American Heart Association classes that are in the educators AHA discipline. The educator will support classes that are held at any of the RWJBarnabas Health campuses, Rutgers Medical School, and/or any RWJBarnabas Health sponsored offsite location that is scheduled by the department. The educator will maintain all training equipment, complete any daily reports, and/or department checklist as outlined by the Director. The educator will work with the logistics driver to create and maintain par levels of paperwork, equipment, and test at the designated locations. The educator, if appointed by TCC, will maintain Training Center Faculty (TCF) designation. TCFs will teach, monitor, and renew other AHA instructors and/or programs. The educator may assist, in but not limited to, EMT programs, nursing competencies, mock codes, high school health programs, school mock codes, hands only CPR events, health fairs, and other community events. Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor, AAP Neonatal Resuscitation or NJOEMS EMT Instructor certification. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
