The Nursing House Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on all units.Â The Nursing HouseÂ Supervisor covers the supervision of the hospital on weekends (8am till 8pm both Saturday and Sunday).Â Position responsibilities include:
> MakeÂ staffing adjustments as necessary. Arranging for coverage in the case of staff call outs, etc.Â
> Oversee unit activities including, but not limited to, admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion and relieving for break or meals.Â
>Â Manage and provide guidance toÂ the Registered Nurses and Mental Health Technicians working on the unit as part of the nursing team.
>Â Provides medication for the nursing staff during Pharmacy off-hours.
> Intervene and appropriately address patient and/or family/visitor complaints and issues.
>Â Coordinate all medical codes, whether real or mock, and ensure they are carried out appropriately and safely.
>Â ReportÂ employee performance and/or relations issues to appropriate Nursing Services Manager and/or Director of Nursing.
