Licensed as a RN in the state of MS, Masters degree in Nursing (MSN or MSHA) required, Labor Management Institute Clinical Resource Leader (CRLC) certification, and Clinical Staffing and Scheduling (CSSC) certification within first 12 months of hire recommended. Minimum 5 years management experience in nursing and/or business leadership required. Demonstrated leadership ability and mentoring ability with progressive responsibilities to include budget/financial preparation, analysis, staffing/scheduling and project management required. Knowledgeable in informatics and clinical documentation systems, LEAN, 6 Sigma training/certification preferred. Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, goal setting and personnel management, preferred. Ability to work well with a variety of people, required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. 5 years or more of experience in leadership role with extensive knowledge of nursing practice, Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS standards, and MS Board of Nursing Practice Act required. Ability to interact with a patient population of all ages ranging from neonates to geriatrics, required.
