The Payer Credentialing Associate is responsible for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for Satellite Healthcare Payers. This position maintains up-to-date data for each Payer in credentialing databases and online systems and ensures that credentialing is completed in a timely manner.

Enroll new centers, submit changes and maintain existing centers credentialing status with all Payers.
Work with payers to update and maintain proper website directories for doctor and patient reference.
Ensure Payers are updated with current demographics for proper claims processing
Send out applications, forms and other Payer correspondence as requested
Work with internal and external stakeholders in identifying concerns or issues, serve as a liason and to work collaboratively to ensure credentialing requirements are met
Escalate any credentialing delays or issues to management
Design and maintain departmental documents regarding center status with Payers
Respond to inquiries regarding status of applications received
Coordinate with internal and external stake holders for Payer Site Visits
Maintain strict confidentiality of information as dictated by HIPAA guidelines
Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner
Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Associate's degree required, Healthcare or Business Administration focus preferred
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in licensing or Payer credentialing
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High level of attention to detail
Ability to organize workflow and manage a large volume of incoming documents or electronic data accurately and with minimum supervision
Familiarity with HIPAA requirements
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based applications
Able to read, write, speak, understand and satisfactorily communicate with others in English in person, over the phone and via email
